my services to fit your needs. You will work with me, not a junior associate who's just learning the
business. If we need graphic design, web development, photography or any other related service,
I have trusted colleagues who can help. And finally, I don't have a fancy office or a large staff to
support. You only pay for the services you actually need.

I am located in Richmond, Virginia, however I work with clients around the country. You'll find I am
very accessible by phone and e-mail.

Working with a consultant or copywriter can be exciting--and perhaps a little anxious if it's a new
relationship.
I have been in business since 1998. I'm not a start up and I'm not going to suddenly disappear in
the night. I've worked with dozens of clients in a wide variety of industries; even if I have not
worked with an organization in your industry, my diverse portfolio demonstrates that I am
adaptable and a quick learner. I don't have to be an expert in your industry. I just have to write
great copy or provide sound marketing recommendations.

Fees
I work on fixed-price project fees that are based on the scope of the assignment. I find my clients
really appreciate knowing what their investment will be from the outset.
Billing
Payment terms also depend upon the scope of project,. For smaller projects, I typically ask for 50
percent upon agreement, with the balance due upon completion or an agreed-upon date. For
larger projects, I request one-third upon agreement, one-third upon reaching an agreed-upon
milestone (for example, submission of a first draft) and final third due on completion or an agreed-
upon date. I bill monthly for retainer agreements.
Revisions
My writing fees include reasonable revisions within the scope of the project we agreed upon. If
the project changes substantially, we may need to revisit our arrangement.
